We absolutely love Dr. Melberger- who has taken care of our 2 Goldies for 6+ years. He is the perfect mix of conservative but necessary and I truly feel like I can trust him to not push unnecessary or overly expensive treatments. That being said, it’s still a vet in Loudoun county so it’s $$$$ but we won’t go elsewhere because of how great Dr. Melberger is.

Exceptional experience from scheduling appointment through checkout. Dr. Strickland was thorough and conveyed a deep sense of knowledge, commitment and caring. All of the vet techs also displayed and rendered high quality care and competency. Highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would. I found LVH by googling the closest vet to me when my senior dog suddenly took a turn for the worst and needed to be seen immediately to cross peacefully. Knowing what I was there to do they were extremely accommodating, patient and caring while spending those final moments with my pup. Today I received a hand written card and an ink print of my pups paws from the doctor in the room with me that day. It meant the absolute world to me that they cared enough to do that and it brings me great peace knowing they took the absolute best care of her after I left.
