Dr. Bowen was very thorough and comprehensive. She found symptoms of the early stages of pigment dispersion syndrome, well before it would have shown up in a typical exam. The ophthalmologist I saw after this alert said that, had she not noted this, he would not have seen it, as it typically shows up in standard tests years further on after some damage has occurred.

I also am sorry to note that she has since retired. It's hard to find people of her quality in her field.

I needed to find a new optometrist once I moved into Leesburg. I decided to try Dr. Bowen and I'm very glad I did! She is very welcoming, professional and extremely thorough. Definitely recommend her!!

Dr Bowen does a great job and is very nice and professiona.I like going here also because I don't leave feeling like I was taken. My wife made the mistake of going to a random place in ashburn and was charged triple at the end without them tlelling her ahead of time. I don't have to worry about that here.
