The lobby is a testament to good architecture. The high ceiling helps with sound distortion. Modern, well-lit facility.

Thank you so much Dr. Buelow and team for taking such great care of Maggie! From the moment my vet sent my puppy’s x-rays, the team worked to help resolve her complex dental issues. This is such a caring and amazing veterinary specialty practice! I appreciate the whole team walking me through what was happening and for providing updates throughout our visit and while Maggie had surgery.

I am so pleased I chose Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery to see my dog Obi for care for slab fractures. The hospital itself is beautiful with a spacious waiting area (not that we waited more than a couple minutes) and reception staff was pleasant and ready to answer questions. The DVM and LVT were wonderful - so patient with all my questions. Obi went right into his sedation xrays and procedure after our consultation. The team kept in contact with me, calling me when his procedure started and when they were waking him up so I knew when to return to the hospital to pick him up. The post op instructions were clear and I really appreciated the follow up phone call to check on Obi the next day. I highly recommend Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery to any pet owner needing this level of services.

There are not enough kind words for AD&OS. Dr. Durney and her team are a blessing. Thank you for your skills, bedside manner and everything else that you can imagine. My baby had 14 teeth pulled and they acknowledged how scared I was with such grace. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

Our pup with heart issues needed to have 2 fistulas repaired and we wanted to find a place that would take good care of him with the anesthesia risk, and this fit the bill. Everyone here is nice, friendly and compassionate, and the procedure went well.

My experience with this office has been perfect from start to (almost) finish. About a month and a half ago, I adopted my cat Ginger and after she came home, I noticed she was drooling, wouldn't chew her dry food and was very protective about her jaw area when I'd pet her. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with stomatitis. This was my first time hearing about this condition in cats and I'll admit I was nervous when my vet said the treatment would look like extracting all of Ginger's teeth, but the vet also recommended taking Ginger to Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery for treatment.
I called to make a consultation appointment and the woman who answered the call (I believe it was Terri) was very sweet and clearly explained what to expect from the visit. I took Ginger and every staff member I interacted with (Jessica, Misty and Dr. Nichol) treated both myself and Ginger with care and explained the entire process perfectly. I didn't need to ask many questions because they were so thorough in the explanations! Eventually we got Ginger's surgery on the books and on surgery day they provided a comprehensive plan. I was contacted before her surgery and after drop-off to confirm Ginger was good to go, after surgery to confirm the surgery went well and for a status update, and a few days after surgery.
For an unexpected diagnosis and a procedure that sounds very scary, the ADOS team made me feel like I didn't need to be worried because their professionalism shows in every step of the process. It's now a week and a half after her surgery and we have another post-op check-up in a few weeks, but I couldn't recommend this practice enough to folks in the DMV! Thank you to Dr. Nichol and the team!!!

My husband and I took my 13 year old heart dog Annabelle to Dr. Nichol and her nurse Kelly for her dental care this week. We had noticed a growth along the side of her muzzle and were concerned about a non-healing tooth root abscess or a tumor. Dr. Nichol and her team were so kind and thoughtful during their care and explanations. When we had to leave Annabelle for her dental procedure, even as a worried dog mom, I knew she was in the best hands. She is recovering beautifully (no tumor or abscess) and even though she is three teeth less you wouldn't know it, as a hound she still loves her food! Thank you Dr. Nichol and the ADOS team so much!

From the moment we walked into the building until the time we went home after my dog's dentistry, we were treated with kindness and received excellent service. Reception staff, technical staff and the doctor were caring and provided excellent veterinary care to my best boy. And, he enjoyed the attention. We will definitely be back to help him maintain excellent oral health so he can live his best long healthy life!
