My cat passed at 413pm. I immediately called to confirm how late they were at the office. I was told they lock the door at 430pm. I could get there by 435pm. Again I was told they close at 430pm. I asked what I should do with my cat. I was told it was cold enough & I could put him otside!. My poor cat was still warm. If I could choose a lower rating. I would. What a total lack of empathy. I was not a new client. I had an 8year relationship with this practice. This was shocking.

I've been going to this vets office for over 30 yrs.With all of my dogs (hunting dogs included). I took my senior dog in there who hadn't been seen there in 5 yrs. She had absess on her paw, she was in a lot of pain. They refused to see her because she hadn't been seen there in 5 yrs. They refused treatment to my senior dog. We were told on the phone to bring her up there. We took her up there and they would not see her. It's absurd, and such a disappointment. Will never ever be going to this vets again! When I needed them they were not willing to help my poor senior dog.

I brought my dog in for a snake bite. It was after hours. Her face and neck were swollen within minutes of it happening. The dr was very nice and acted quickly. Very thankful that they came in to help my pup out. She is doing so much better today. I'm sure getting her treated quickly and effectively played a huge role.

I went yo Kilmarnock Animal Hospital during a difficult time in the life of our family we made the decision to allow our pet to fall asleep with thier assistance to say that they were patient, kind and empathetic would be an understatement I have never been so sure about a decision when it came to our beloved dog. Thank You all for helping us through this time.

This vet is not accepting new patients and refused treatment to my dog with a bleeding infected paw we were from out of town and needed an emergency vet and suggested driving 70 miles away , didn’t say anything else than ..sorry we don’t take new patients , and kept working ,

Visiting from out of town, had to find a emergency dr for a infected paw on my dog that was bleeding went to the 'animal hospital ' and was turned away saying they didn't accept new patients, dog paw still bleeding and infected , this place should remove the hospital part of the name, I'm so glad back home we take the time to see each patient especially if they are desperate and in need
