“I just recently moved states, and I've had 2 hairdressers throughout my entire life, and I am in my early twenties. I have always had long hair, and one short hair cut left me scarred. I was almost a year overdue on a trim, and my best friend had just gotten a haircut from Prism's south location recently. I was so scared to book an appointment just because of my own anxiety, but looking at all of the reviews, it is clear that all of the stylists here are extremely talented. Based off of reviews and other's experiences, I decided to book an appointment with Katherine. Oh my gosh what a wonderful experience!! Katherine did something none of my previous hair dressers had: she sat down face to face with me to talk about what I was looking to get done and asked me what things I specifically wasn't going for. Normally stylists will just stand behind you and ask you. This felt more personable and I really felt heard! Katherine is such a sweetheart! I had to have talked to her for like 15 minutes before she washed my hair. She was very patient, kind, and understanding! She did my layers beautifully, cut it exactly the length I was going for, and did my bangs better than I've ever had them done before! I told her I have a cowlick in my bangs, and she taught me how to style them to hide it! Her attention to detail is spot on, and I am so grateful I found her and this salon! I left the salon feeling so refreshed & beautiful with my freshly trimmed hair! I will definitely return to Katherine for future trims and cuts!“

When I first came to Jade, I had been bleaching my naturally very dark hair for years with a hairstylist from my hometown. While I was achieving the color I asked for, my hair was slowly breaking off and in such a fragile state. “I went here about a week and everyone here was so nice. The salon is tucked away so a bit hard to find but the exterior and interior are so cutely decorated. They were so nice to book a same day appointment for me too since I was only in town for a few days! Emily did my haircut and she made sure to understand what I was asking of her for a cut because I got pretty specific. Emily took her time on my hair and was very meticulous with the details- I mean I truly have never had anyone take this much care of my hair before so it was so nice to be heard.
