I am reminded to either go to Dominican or African-American hair salons to get my hair done. I had to keep telling the stylist how to deal with my hair so that she doesn’t end up putting too much heat in it and she seemed to get frustrated. Visiting from out of town so I felt desperate not knowing many places. But this will definitely be my first and last visit. Also I need to learn Spanish cuz I need to know what she was saying. I could hear her huffing and puffing over my head. I’m so sorry that my hair was that much to deal with. It’s quite unfortunate how I was made to feel unwelcome. I just moved to the area and pass by this place pretty often. I took my son here for a haircut and was more than pleased with the results! He actually wanted a styled cut and not just short hair all around this time. I explained to her what kind of style I was seeking for him and she nodded her head. I watched her most of the time as his hair was shaping up, it was definitely coming out nicely! More importantly, my son was very happy with his fresh new 'do! I think both him and I left feeling very happy about his new hair stylist/barber. We will be returning! Thank you!
