I went to my first yoga class in more than ten years Saturday with Suzanne and it was perfect - good work modifiable to the level I walked in at that left me feeling steady and worked, but not debilitatingly sore or weak or anything that would keep me from coming back. In fact, I just left a class with Niki today that felt very different and was also accessible, possible to go to whatever edge I wanted to reach and modify as needed and without penalty (and with possible modifications offered as the norm, just as with Suzanne). Trying to care for myself again with as much vigor as I care for my kids/family and this is a helpful, whole way to start.

The center has taught me so much about the physicality and mentality that goes into yoga. I don't live in Harrisonburg so I only had the pleasure of taking ~6-8 classes there, but the lessons I learned from the Center I will with me wherever and whenever I practice yoga. Such a safe space for women, queer people, and anyone looking to feel seen or supported by a lovely group of instructors and their participants. Thank you to the Center for providing a community and refuge for those who seek it.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Center yoga studio! The space is welcoming, calming, and thoughtfully designed. Vivian was an excellent instructor—clear guidance, great energy, and truly attentive to everyone in the room. I left feeling refreshed and strong. Highly recommend!
