I am a ex cyclist and needed an accurate pair of glasses. I have had such fantastic service at this store that I just have to tell you. The girls that work there are super nice, extremely knowledgeable and bend over back words to help you. Smiling, concerned and want to please. Basically, I felt like they were holding me hostage. The front desk associate said she couldn’t check me out after my eye exam, even though that’s what I requested. When another associate finally rang me up, it took a long time — even though the total was $0 because my insurance covered it. I got the impression she was upset that I didn’t need glasses at the moment. My appointment was at 350. I left at 530. I get they were busy but I just needed an eye exam and they knew it was $0.

My experience with staff here today. I called to infer about my scratch protection, simply asked if it's one and done or multiple times. Avery who was on the line with me acted as if this was an inconvenience and, told me the only way I could get that answer was to drive there. I pushed back stating that I live about an hour away and I would like to not drive there for no reason if it's not covered. Then after some stewing and complaining, I got the answer I needed from her. I then asked if my coverage would cover new glasses and, if so, I would not be wise to spend out of pocket for lenses right at new years if my coverage renewed. Again, I was brushed off and treated poorly and was told that I need to make calls and figure that out on my own and then come back and, would I like to go ahead and schedule that um no. I then called back to see if I could get a copy of my prescription so that I can go to another express vendor so I can get clear lenses in the meantime. Again, in the spirit of no, I was told if I didn't have a fax that basically I'm driving there anyway for a paper copy and a fake I'm sorry and have a nice day. So, I did drive the hour on my day off to get it and I am taking my business elsewhere and I will pay more for a lower tier provider from anthem as this is not the first time with this location. I have not had good experiences here most times due to staff not being trained on filing claims and knowing the computer system or other excuses. Despite all of that this is the first time a rep flat out refused to be helpful and I had to press to get any assistance and because I don't have a fax machine in my house, I still had to drive an hour on my day off from work. Staff needs remedial customer service and billing training. Rule 1 Keep no and I can not and will not out of your vocabulary and offer solutions not hard roadblocks and attitude. Staff is rude and unhelpful.

Bad experience all the way around. I waited nearly 2 hours to see the doctor after completing the eye tests but I had to leave to get to work on time. I was frustrated but I made another appointment for a week later after being assured several times by the front desk receptionist that my next appointment would be quick and easy since my paperwork and tests had already been completed, and that I would only need to see the doctor. When I returned a week later, the staff who assisted me wasn't aware of this and had a rude attitude after I explained to her what I was told. She proceeded to tell me I would need to redo my paperwork and probably the tests too. I left and will not be returning because I am not willing to waste anymore time with a place where communication among staff is obviously lacking.
