Huge shoutout to Razor. I came in for a beard edge-up and the man completely delivered. The cheek lines are incredibly crisp, the neckline is carved out perfectly, and the blend is seamless. Honestly, I was a little caught off guard at first by the $25 price tag for just an edge-up (left a $5 tip to make it $30), but you absolutely get what you pay for. The precision is top-tier and worth every penny when you leave the chair looking this sharp. On top of the great work, Razor is a super chill dude, the conversation was great, and it’s a really nice shop overall. If you want your beard done right, this is the guy. 5 stars all the way—I will definitely be back.

I went in on a Saturday at 1 o clock to get a haircut by Chris. When I arrived at 12:30, I was the next appt at 1.. as I sat, 2 kids walked in and just sat down & I thought nothing of it. When the 12:30 got finished (at 1:15 mind you), expecting it to be my turn, he told me “I’m gonna get these 2 real quick than I got you” & proceeded to give them their haircuts. At 1:25 I walked out seeing my appointment was going to be an HOUR behind schedule. Terrible customer service, terrible time management, wouldn’t recommend to absolutely ANYONE.

I’m really sad to see all of the 1 star reviews… but I had a good experience here. It was my first time here and a first time cut for my 2 yrold son… I chose this shop because I knew that they would understand curly ringlets… which my son has. I’d be heartbroken if his curls were damaged or chopped going to a kids cut place or a hair cuttery dealing with stylists who possibly don’t understand. I waited quite a bit (even with making an appointment) BUT he apologized and got straight to work. Chris G was very patient with my baby and did the best he could with a wiggly toddler. Reading the comments, I did not feel unwelcome here. The barber shop may be specialized in styling/cutting a specific hair type but at the end of the day they are a business and id like to think they appreciate ANY person that supports them. I will be coming back, maybe when my son is older and can appreciate the art of a barber. Thank you!

This is specifically for Alexis Sagardia. I highly recommend you stay away. Brought my son in for a haircut. Alexis wrenched on his head and combed through his hair very aggressively. My son was visibly in pain. We asked if Alexis could shorten and fine tune some things and he said “I think it looks good, not sure bout y’all. Very unprofessional.

I am new to Fredericksburg and was really hoping to find my go-to spot for my regular hair cut and beard trim but this place, unfortunately, is not it. I did not have an appointment, and I will own that, but it was my day off and I was in no hurry, so I was happy to wait. When I was called to the chair I communicated that I wanted a beard trim set at 3 and would then consider lowering it more. I was given a 4 instead. I asked for a hot towel, straight razor beard trim, and was shaved dry instead without so much as gel or cream. When I was presented with the mirror, I asked if they did or did not offer the hot towel service. I was told they did, but since an appointment was waiting and I was a walk-in it would not be done, but was assured it would be next time. There won't BE a next time. All very unfortunate, really.
