Tamarack Stables Rivers Edge offers trail rides and lessons. The barn is known for its beautiful trails and well-cared for horses. The owner is experienced and provides a positive learning environment. The stable is a great place for families and beginners, with gentle horses and accommodating guides. It is conveniently located near Fredericksburg.
We took our 4 boys for their first experience and introduction to horses. We worked with Crystal who was by far the most amazing woman and instructor, she was born for this. Her personality and demeanor, her patience and care for the horses and my children made the boys feel at ease. Crystal was so much fun to work with. She took time to really teach the steps of caring for a horse, navigate the area, and didn’t rush us through our experience. Our family cannot wait to return to Tamarack Stables!
My 13 y.o. Daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Crystal and her horses. We did the hour long ride. We were able to see beautiful pastures, wooded areas and a river. Horses were very tame and made for a very comfortable ride. After not being on a horse for over 30 years, I was able to ride comfortably up or down hills and tight wooded spaces. we will return for more rides in the future. Thank you Crystal for the adventure.
