Many children are working students and have the opportunity to both teach and learn. In addition to horse care and farm work, the programs teach responsibility relating to being on time, working as a team, and communicating with others. The owner and all of the working students are kind and compassionate, and their love of the animals shines through in everything they do. They take the time to get to know their students and their families. Those at Iron Ponytail Farm are like family, creating a welcoming herd. The values they teach about hard work, compassion, confidence, and generally just being a good human are foundational. It is a true blessing and highly recommended on so many levels.
