After adopting Cora in February, we knew we were going to need doggie training. After research and speaking to other services, it was clear that off leash was our go-to. Emma was amazing from the first phone call to when we picked up our sweet puppy. She was detailed on her training plan, what to expect, and how to continue Cora’s learning process into her adult years. We received daily and even multiple times a day updates, pictures and videos on how Cora was progressing. She answered any questions we had quickly. I can’t recommend the services enough! Any other dogs that come into our home will be off leash k9 dogs too.
We sent our 1 year old Lab/husky mix to trainer Emma for the 2 week old board/train, and I could not even begin to explain my gratitude for the services we received! Our dog, Moose, started with absolutely no recall, would bark and jump NONSTOP, and yank our arms out of the socket when walking. After 2 weeks with Emma, he’s like a brand new dog. Still rambunctious and full of energy, but his recall and leash etiquette is INCREDIBLE. Emma updates you throughout the 2 week period, so you can see the progress your dog makes daily. We can’t say enough good things about Robert at Off Leash K9 Training in Fredericksburg. From the very start, he was communicative, patient, and genuinely loving toward our sensitive dog, Stella, and that’s not something you take for granted when you’re trusting someone with a dog who needs extra care.
What we appreciated most is that he doesn’t use a cookie-cutter approach. He assessed Stella’s individual personality and needs and tailored her training accordingly. She’s a pretty anxious dog from being abandoned as a puppy, so noises on the street are extra scary for her… and Robert recognized that from the start.
