My son Dylan has been going to Mountain Kim for about a year now. He absolutely loves it. The instructors at the school, Master J and instructor Paul, are absolutely top-notch incredible people. You can tell they are very passionate about teaching taekwondo, and teaching it the right way. If they take one thing away from reading this review, I hope it’s that they should feel very proud of the impact they are having on these kids and the community in general. The dojo my son attended before this one just let the kids get away with way too much and weren’t super strict on the testing, it seemed like everyone just passed the belt testing even with tons of mistakes. My son’s been at Mt. Kim for over two years now, and it’s been an awesome experience. He’s gained a ton of confidence and really come out of his shell. Master J just knows how to push each kid (and adult) in the right way—no handouts, just real progress, which makes the growth feel even better

I enrolled my grandson after taking advantage of their 2 week free offer. Immediately my grandson was welcomed and instantly became part of the this family. Master J is an awesome instructor. Assistant instructors Paul, Zack, and Lorenzo are all very professional, passionate and patient. The structure and self awareness and care are shown at each class. My grandson struggled with confidence and didn’t adjust well to strangers and didn’t like to be in the spotlight. Since attending, he’s become more confident and he isn’t shy to be called on to begin or end class. He has become more polite in addressing adults with respectful words.
