My children are happy to attend these classes at Montaña Kim martial art, they teach them discipline, respect and being resilient and much more. I love it because the whole family can go and they can participate too.
I highly recommend Mt. Kim for any parent looking to improve their childś physical and social skills while increasing self-discipline and confidence. Classes are a great combination of fun and serious, challenging and rewarding. The greatest testimony to Mt. Kim (and Instructor Keith) is the way they meet each child (or adult) where they are and encourage them to improve and work toward their goals. This is not a ¨cookie cutter¨ program; each individual is recognized and cheered on as they work to improve their martial arts AND life skills. Attending classes at Kim has been a wonderful experience for my son. He has improved his physical and social skills while learning self-discipline and perseverance. Instructor Keith and the instructors he has trained emphasize that the habits learned in class don't end when students "step off the mat" but continue at home and school. Instructor Keith partners with parents to support kids in developing their weaker areas in a positive environment. Watching this weekend's Black Belt testing was evidence of how influential this is.
