The staff, from the friendly check-in personnel to the skilled physicians, work together seamlessly to provide a positive experience for patients. The practice's multiple locations in the Fredericksburg area make it convenient for patients, with one reviewer noting the convenient location just five minutes from their home. While the physical therapy department has faced some scheduling challenges, the overall feedback on the practice is overwhelmingly positive. Patients appreciate the polite and helpful staff, as well as the exceptional care they receive from the surgeons and specialists. One patient even reported a dramatic reduction in pain after undergoing surgery with Dr. Baqaie. The practice's commitment to customer service is exemplified by the exceptional assistance provided by Addy Davis, a medical check-in staff member who went above and beyond to help a patient navigate the referral process. This level of personalized attention and care is a hallmark of Mary Washington Orthopedics.
MWH Orthopaedics on Fall Hill Ave in Fredericksburg Va is a very good place for me. The people we check in with are friendly, smile at me and help every way they can. She is kind enough to always schedule me at this location because it is 5 minutes from my home. My surgeon, Dr. Accousti, is also very friendly, encourages me in my physical therapy, and let's me know I will be feeling much better in another 3 months.
Please do not recommend your physical therapy department for PT. I called for an appointment today (7/03/2025) and was told no appointment was available until August 13th. That is absurd!! If your PT facility cannot handle your requests then you should inform your patients at the time of recommendation. Six weeks is a ridiculous amount of time and your doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners should be aware of the delay before they prescribe PT and recommend your facility.
On a recent visit (11/7) I was assisted by Addy Davis (Med Check in) who is a huge asset to this practice. I have been having a really hard time getting proper referrals with my primary care provider to complete further care. Addy really stepped up to assist me, made contact with my insurance carrier to confirm requirements and gave me phenomenal service. She was patient, kind, thorough and compassionate. This kind of service is rare these days and so appreciated and necessary. Many thanks Addy...great job!
