Hidden Treasure! I left a salon after 7 years of service and prayed to find a place where kindness comes before money and I found it at Downtown. Vanessa is amazing better than the best at my prior salon. They all seem amazing!

My mother had her nails done here and when she tried to have the acrylic nail polish removed it took more than two hours of intensive work at another salon before it was completely removed. The nail art was not done well either.

This salon is fantastic! I was visiting Fredericksburg for a wedding and my nails had been roughed up with packing and travel. I called the Downtown Nail & Hair Salon to see if someone there could re-do my nails. They got me right in the next day and Jaime, the nail technician who I had my appointment with, helped me pick out the perfect polish for my skin tone and the dress I'd be wearing to the wedding. She was professional, thorough, and fun to chat with. I can't say enough of how much I loved this salon! Also, the nail facilities are very clean and sanitary. If only I could find a place like this back home!

Although finding them was a little rough, I am in love with this little salon downtown <3
As I was stressed from having so much going on due to it being my wedding day, their staff was super amiable and I was able to talk my stress away.
Did an amazing job on my nails and I will be going back any time I need a mani/pedi!!

Called the salon late to see if I could get a simple manicure before a job interview the next day. They said no problem and I was excited that they could see me. I came 5 mins early and waited just a few minutes. The nail apprentice, Kim?, saw me. She was either very nervous or something was wrong, she was very shakey and I tried to tell her that it was fine and I was in no rush. My nails ended up looking ok. Just asked for a simple clear polish. The next day, my polish was peeling off! It looked horrible and I had to remove all of it before my big interview. I was seriously disappointed.

I found this great little salon while on my first visit to Fredericksburg from NYC and am so thrilled that I wandered in. The salon is friendly, homey even, and I -- your basic random New Yorker--felt welcomed immediately. The ladies are talented and the service is simply outstanding. Jane took care of me and I can honestly say that I haven't been this happy with a mani-pedi OR this relaxed in ages. RUN, don't walk, to this place. You will leave feeling (and looking) like a gazillion bucks. What a treat!

Ask for Rachel if you want the best pink and whites ever. Jane is the go to girl for pedicures and manicures.
