Abby Construction built our detached garage/art studio/pergola, with construction completed in October 2023. After reaching out to almost a dozen contractors, and getting formal written estimates from four, we know that we chose the best company for our job. Abby broke ground at the end of June, and the project was completely finished by the beginning of October. Chris Huie was great to work with from start to finish. Did everything go perfectly according to plan throughout construction? No, it didn't. Back in 2019 Abby did a deck demolition and rebuild for me. The work was excellent and I was nothing but satisfied with both the experience and the work that was done.Now here is what inspired me to come on an post a review. Several years later while having another totally unrelated project done at my house, I discovered, through no fault of Abby's that the county failed to properly log the final inspection. Major thanks to Chris and his team at Abby Construction. Our property manager contacted quite a few companies to find one that could handle the replacement of our storefront window in downtown Frederickburg. Abby handled the whole project, including getting the appropriate city approvals, in a timely and reasonably priced manner, and the finished product looks great! Couldn't be more pleased. As an out-of-state owner, it's particularly important to find contractors on the ground that I know I can trust to get the job right and not charge us an arm and a leg to do so. We've since hired them to do other building repairs and continue to have a great experience. Highly recommend.
