**Five-Star Care From Beginning to End**

I recently had knee-replacement surgery, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care I received throughout the entire experience.

My journey began with my primary care physician, Dr. Pernell, and his nursing team. When his schedule was extremely busy, another doctor made time to see me and ensure that I received the care I needed. Unfortunately, I do not recall her name, but I hope the hospital will review my medical record and recognize her for her professionalism and willingness to help.

Very good ER physicians!!
If you can get past the civilian charge nurse; Nurse Moses.
She thinks she served in the military.
She did not.
I am not too sure if she is a nurse, because I would not even send my pet there with her awful attitude and demeanor.
I am a United States Airforce Veteran who served my country in Desert Storm, and the treatment I received by her bellicose comments and disrespect towards me is completely unwarranted and unethical.
I am now disabled and I got substandard care by her on her watch.
Thank God I just spoke to her boss, the head of the Emergency Department today.

I went into the ER department in excruciating pain last Thursday, and they don’t have ultrasound capability at night anymore. The doctor suspected it was my gallbladder, and she ordered me a CT scan with contrast because the gold standard for diagnosing gallbladder problems, an ultrasound, wasn’t available. I did get a toradol shot for my pain. The CT scan didn’t show anything, so I was discharged with no pain management and told to follow up with my PCM (also at Belvoir). My PCM gave me a muscle relaxer for my intestines and gave me a referral to GI and for an ultrasound, which I couldn’t even access until the following Monday.
