First, I would encourage anyone researching businesses and remodeling companies to look at multiple review platforms - Yelp and the BBB show a very different story.
I have used NV Kitchen and Bath (Falls Church, VA location) twice for kitchen remodels - once in 2018 and once in 2023-2024 - totaling over $150K in work. I can validate both of these projects with copies of my signed contracts.
The job in 2018 required significant work, including removal of a previous existing wall, installation of beams, structural engineer work, moving windows, and building a top-notch kitchen with a 10' island. The kitchen is featured prominently on their website and marketing materials. There were headaches along the way requiring multiple meetings with management. However, we crossed the finish line and we were willing to recommend them to our friends and return as customers.
Our current job is in flux. Since reaching cabinet installation (just prior to countertop installation) and paying another significant payment per our contract, NV Kitchen and Bath employees have not worked on our project. The last time an NV Kitchen and Bath employee stepped in our home was 18 June 2024 (I will update this post when that changes). I look forward to getting my project across the finish line and resolving several issues with this company.

I had a kitchen Island and countertop for dining room cabinets installed from NV kitchen and bath. Kay, designed the islands based on our needs and gave a good price. The installation was prompt and professional. Looking forward to work with them again.

NV Kitchen and Bath created a disaster in our home and then refused to take responsibility for it. They installed the ceramic floor in our kitchen and hallway incorrectly and it has basically fallen apart. I called them dozens upon dozens of times and they refused to fix it. We are living with the mess they created. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE. They will destroy it.

I recently had my kitchen remodeled with NV Kitchen and Bath, and I am thrilled with the results! The team did an excellent job, from design to execution. We have worked with designers, Emily and Kay were amazing easy to work with. Listened to all our concerns and helped us to get our dream kitchen! The attention to detail, quality of materials, and timely completion exceeded our expectations. I want to thank to all team who were with us in this journey. Including, technicians, operations coordinator Victor, project manager Eren were fabulous on their job. I now have a functional and stylish kitchen that has truly transformed my home. Highly recommended!

In January of 2022 we decided to get a facelift for our kitchen. We were keeping the existing cabinets, but changing the floor, back splash, countertops and getting a new island. We chose NV Kitchen and Bath (“NVKB”) in Falls Church to do the work, based on the rave reviews we saw on the internet. Our experience was not consistent with those stories. We signed the contract in February of 2022 because they promised the project could be completed within 4-5 weeks . However, the contract is crafted to make the beginning and ending completely ambiguous so there’s no ability to require a certain timeline for completion. Now, almost 2 years later the project is not done. They last communicated with us on October 25th, 2023, promising to continue and finish the work. However, to date, they have not fulfilled those promises and we haven’t heard from them since October 25, 2023. Our last request to them was by email, sent on December 7, 2023.The problems with NVKB began immediately from the start. To get a new island took three months and one of the cabinets they ordered was the wrong size. While we were waiting on the right materials, we were told the manufacturer, (“Kemper”), no longer made those cabinets. We were told to pick a substitute. We offered NVKB to drop off the substituted items to our house. When we opened the boxes, the color of the hood did not match the island. Again, Kemper didn’t have a hood of a matching color. We had to order a new hood (not Kemper) and it took additional two months. As the backsplash would be installed around the hood, the crew couldn’t begin work.To add insult to injury, when they had to return the wrong hood, they tried charging us a restocking fee. They ultimately relented, admitting we shouldn’t have to pay. Additionally, we have cameras installed throughout our property. When a project manager of NVKB was seen on camera, removing six boxes of tiles from our garage without any authorization , we complained to NVKB and they returned them but only after two months. This was a disturbing event nonetheless. After addressing our concerns with them on October 25, 2023, their Operations Coordinator, Victor, agreed to remedy the problems and said he will be in touch. Nothing was heard from them thereafter.Nevertheless, every single thing NVKB touched in our kitchen was damaged (broken tile, damaged island, wobbling floor, scratched trim of the refrigerator, electrical problems with installation of the lights). We expect it will take thousands of dollars to complete the work and do the necessary repairs. Please be aware that our experience with NVKB has been a disaster. They promised to be done in 4 to 5 weeks. They should have known that this was an impossible task, but we relied on that promise to enter into a contract, they took our money, they have not completed the job and we are damaged to the tune of thousands of dollars. Our advice is to consider a different company if you are planning on a kitchen upgrade. If you do choose them, install cameras everywhere, insist on fixed beginning and ending dates in the contract, penalties for going over the promised ending date and demand an ability to terminate the contract for cause. Lastly, hire an attorney help modify their form contract before signing. We wish we had done so.

They say a kitchen renovation is one of the biggest investments (and biggest disruptions) one can make in one's home, and I'm glad to have chosen NV Kitchen and Bath for ours. While work has not yet finished, we're impressed with NV and love our new kitchen so far. To be clear, this process has still been *hard*, and fairly stressful. For our project, it included months of discussions about design and financing, tearing down part of a wall, and replacing 700 square feet of carpeting with new hardwood flooring. NV has handled it all, which has been huge for peace of mind working with one contractor from concept and design through demolition and construction.Emily, who finished our design from NV's Falls Church location, was great about responding to questions and talking us through options. I did have to ask a lot of questions and be my own advocate when inquiring about design changes, features, and customization, but that's not a ding on Emily or NV. It's hard for anyone to create something you'll truly love without *you* bringing a lot of your own questions and input to the design conversations, and when you're paying for something as big as a kitchen reno, you owe it to yourself and your wallet to talk through all the details. Emily and other folks at NV were transparent and communicative throughout this long and challenging process, providing detailed checklists for all the critical choices, so we always had a solid idea of how our design (and budget) was evolving. We came to NV with a goal of a $50-60k kitchen. The final project will likely cost closer to $75k. That's a big increase, but it's mostly because of our own design decisions, and it's a *great* value for an *amazing* kitchen. NV helped us make informed decisions every step of the way, we're getting exactly what we always envisioned for our home, and NV is pulling it off *beautifully*.Ryan, the branch manager for Alexandria, has been great at keeping the process moving forward and helping us with financing that worked for our family budget. Louis has been prompt with payment details and confirmations. Baran, our project manager onsite, has been wonderful at answering all our questions about the timeline, solving problems with suppliers, and addressing concerns throughout the build. The crew has also worked remarkably fast. After starting on November 27, demo work and the new flooring were nearly done in the first week, cabinets were installed the next week, and the countertop, backsplash, and appliances will all be installed this week, week three. (On Monday, December 11, the countertops were already in!) That's a huge project coordination win. There are dozens of little details and touch-ups remaining in the weeks ahead (skipping the holiday)—a shim here, a patch there, caulk this, paint that—but we're *seriously* impressed at how quickly NV has moved with the build, the quality of the materials, and the quality of the work that has been done so far, even if there are some issues to fix.Again, this process is *hard*. And yeah, it's *expensive*. But if you're going to put all that work into your home, it pays to have a partner with the care and expertise you need to do it right. The folks at NV have been great partners for us. The staff are all from Turkey, too, which is neat, and they can fix you up with some nice coffee if you stop by their showroom. I imagine we might work with them again for a bath reno in the future!

We have done a number of kitchen renovations over the years with different companies, and I am extremely happy with the work from NV Kitchen and Bath in Alexandria. They did an excellent job of a Fabuwood kitchen for us in Old Town. They are very knowledgable and responsive, and they know the cabinet companies really well, so they get questions answered and products delivered very quickly. Their installers are efficient and accurate and they kept everything very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Save your time and don't bother using this company or even requesting a consultation. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt despite their 1 star reviews and base it on the 5 star reviews instead because I liked their project gallery. Let me tell you, believe what the people are saying with the 1star reviews! Just making the appt online was cumbersome. They sent me 4-5 emails just to confirm a simple appt. So much back n forth involved. I was lucky enough to see how unprofessional they were on my consultation day so I now know not to proceed with them. The guy arrived 22 mins late (for a 30 min appt). I was limited in time because he was late and the process was rushed because of it. I emailed when he was 10 mins late but didn't get a reply back from his office until 24 hrs later. Though they apologized, it wasn't sincere because it was a "I'm sorry but these things happen" kind of apology. It only takes one phone call to tell your potential customer that you are running late. This is called professionalism and common courtesy something this company clearly lacks and because of this they lost a 5 bathroom remodeling project. So glad I saw red flags on day 1 instead of halfway into a project with them! I will be looking elsewhere and I suggest you do too.

First, never ask someone you know (who is in the remodeling business) and respect to redo your home. We thought until months into the project and no replies from him, that he was ignoring us. He finally admitted that it wasn't his company, and couldn't help. Second, never use this company. There are 9 different drawings of how we wanted out walk in shower to look. Justin Yildiz even came by for us to discuss it verbally with him. Sadly he put the walk in shower the way he wanted and simply said "mistakes" happen. No offer to make it right. He does not listen to you, the customer, he ignores emails, texts and phone calls. He will tell you that your job is small that he has bigger concerns. He will tell you that persons told him things were done. All of it false. Unless you beg information out of them, you won't know anything. Justin will tell you anything, but correct information.Below is my last email to them. Guess what, Silence! You will get the same."The rest of you as well. If we did not generate an email, we would have no I idea what was going on.Sadly, (after waiting 5 weeks with no communication) it took me to get real ugly to get anything done! Why? We were your customer, you didn't treat us as such. You broke and entered our home in order to get the windows put in and then left our door unlocked, AFTER we asked Justin to wait! Justin, managed to give us incorrect information on many occasions, and when pointed out, "oh that's just a little lie". He told us on several occasions that we were a little job and that he had much larger jobs that took his time. However, the lowest is allowing him to put our dream shower into what he wanted, not us. Again, silence from you all.Paul Adams
