Jess Haircuts

What a pleasant experience, Hanah was lovely!! When my girlfriend requested a Bob haircut from having very long hair, the end result was fantastic. She made gorgeous work of it!

I’ve been here multiple times, they are kid friendly and the haircuts are superb. Hanah does an excellent job!

Jess Haircuts does a great job at a reasonable price. The wait is never long and the atmosphere is comfortable. I have brought my 4 year-old son for haircuts, which also go well. Highly recommend and will continue getting my haircuts here for as long as possible!

For a no frills but quality haircut I'd recommend Jess Haircuts.

11/19/25: Jess accommodated me coming back the next day after my (see below) bad experience with another hairdresser. Jess trimmed my hair with scissors and apologized for the experience I had the day prior. I’m grateful for her time, apology and doing what she could to make it right. If/when I return in the future, I’ll triple check my appointment is with Jess.

11/18/25: I’ve been here a few times and had good experiences with Jess. Today, I had an appt with Jess. Arrived a few minutes early to see two clients having their hair cut. I waited around 20 minutes and was gestured over to someone who was not Jess. I explained I had an appt with Jess, but was told she wasn’t there. I sat in Yujn’s (I think?) chair. I have really long hair and just wanted a basic trim. She cut my hair with a razor. This has never been done before. I said something, but there’s seemingly a language barrier. She used scissors some, but primarily cut inches of my hair with the razor. I googled this when I left and apparently it’s really bad for your hair - it makes split ends more prevalent, occurring quicker and is the lazy way to cut long hair. I fear I now need to go get it cut elsewhere to make sure my hair isn’t damaged by the razor.

Jess is extremely friendly and was very meticulous with my haircut! She took her time to make sure everything was just as I wanted!

Yujin is the hair stylist for both myself and my son at Jess Haircuts. She is by far the best hair stylist I'd ever had, and my son says the same about her.

Here is why:
1. She has the best skill sets that allow her to style your hair the way you like it.
2. She is both a great listener and an advisor when consulting with you about your style.
3. She is so sophisticated with her hands that your hair would look amazing when the job is done.

I absolutely recommend that you go to Yujin for your haircut.

Jess is the best! She’s the only person who can cut my hair just right. I’ve been getting my hair cut by her since 2019, and I still travel all the way from Frederick to Falls Church just to see her. She’s incredibly skilled, kind, and always treats us like family. Her shop is always clean and kid-friendly. My son loves the popsicles and the dinosaur haircut cape! Ms. Anne is also wonderful; she always takes great care of my little son and my mother-in-law as well.

Stylists were unable to follow instructions. One made an error that Jess needed to come over and remedy then left a 3-inch long scratch on my neck with the clippers. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I am stunned this place has such good reviews. This was the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. The stylist ignored my instructions. I repeatedly asked for scissors on the top and to take off no more than half an inch. After using scissors for a minute or so, she proceeded to buzz off most of the top and assured me that I should trust her because she’s been a barber for more than 20 years. She also left me with huge amounts of irritation due to the aggressive manner in which she wielded the trimmer on my neck. I’ve never gotten anything close to that amount of irritation at other places.
