I decided to see Deborah to help me with some low back pain I'd been having for a long time and I'm so glad I did! She was phenomenal to work with, and I really appreciated that she took a few minutes before our session to chat about what I was feeling and what my goals were for the treatment. I've been seeing Deborah for about 4 years, following her to her current location in Falls Church. Deborah's style and approach works perfectly for me - she has a light but thorough touch. She begins by asking you how you feel today and how you felt after your last massage - her goal is to focus on the areas you need. Sometimes I might need an overall relaxing massage and the next time addressing a sore leg or knot in my back. We can talk the whole time and sometimes I'm quiet and fade off. I’ve been seeing Deborah for years, first at Georgetown Massage and Bodywork, and now in her own practice. She cares a lot about her clients. She has spent her own time researching different treatment techniques for my scoliosis and accompanying back pain. She also helps me understand how other muscles and parts of my body are impacted, which allows me to better care for myself in the time between appointments. I consider regular massage therapy with Deborah to be essential to my overall health.
