I called in after receiving a text of a forthcoming appt. Good thing I did as the appts.are computer generated and rarely checked by an office staff. I had no idea that a darned computer was making my appts.for me. This Dr. was "Johnny on the spot" when it came to getting rid of my skin cancers. His office staff were polite and courteous making future appts. His bedside manner is comparable to Sheldon Cooper on the "Big bang theory" he is indeed a character of sorts and an excellent dermatologist.
Initially, there was an appointment glitch. I was confirmed for an appointment, but not shown on the schedule. After about an hour wait, I met with Liz Blumenthal. She was very knowledgeable, professional & provided me with various options available for facial improvement procedures. She was straight forward about the benefits of each procedure & pros/cons. She also allowed me time to research the various procedures & follow up with her. I appreciate that Ms. Blumenthal is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in cosmetic dermatology. I left the office with samples of cleanser & moisturizer which are good for my skin. I appreciate the opportunity to try products before buying them. Looking forward to working closely with Ms. Blumenthal toward healthier skin.
This was my first time seeing a dermatologist, but I used to work in a dermatology office, so I know roughly how it works. Dr. Ellison was an absolute delight! She is smart and super efficient. All my questions were answered and she was very thorough with my skin check. My prescriptions were sent in on the same day without delay. The front desk and nursing staff were all very kind as well. 11/10 definitely recommend!
