This is the second PM Pediatrics location I’ve gone to (first visit here) and it was quick and painless! It was a walk in for my daughter who was not feeling well and we were seen within 10 minutes of arriving (no others were in at that point). The nurse took her vitals and the doctor assessed her and addressed any concerns. Her prescriptions were sent it promptly by the clinic.
In the past PM pediatrics was so helpful for an after hours help. This time around the experience was different. As soon as I walked in with my sick 1 year old baby …front desk staff (Springfield location) immediately told me there was a 3 hour wait if I wanted to go to another location that would be best. She showed no concerns of my sick child. She basically told me I should go somewhere else that they were short staff only one doctor and it will take hours. I ended up going to Fairfax location same issue …once I walked in front desk told me there was 1 hour and half wait. I told her I would wait my child needs to see a doctor. Excellent and compassionate service! I drove from DC to this location based on the reviews. Excellent facilities. We were seen within 15 minutes of our appointment, and the doctor even offered to test me after my son’s test came back positive for strep. We’ll be back!
