Northern Virginia Ki-Aikido is a welcoming dojo with experienced instructors who teach the art of self-defense and mind-body coordination. Students appreciate the warm community and the supportive atmosphere that encourages learning at their own pace. They enjoy exploring the principles of ki aikido, including relaxation and concentration, and have the opportunity to practice with wooden swords. With a lineage connected to a headquarters in Japan, the dojo offers a rich experience for both beginners and seasoned practitioners.
Great place to get your kids trained in self defense. Fees is very reasonable and Marion is a very good Sensei
I have been training at the NoVA Ki-Aikido Dojo for almost 20 years. The instructions are well versed in teaching the art of self defense and mind-body coordination.
I have learned a lot about the martial art of ki aikido here, as well as the ki aspects (relaxation, centering, and concentration). I have met some wonderful people at the dojo, and have had a lot of fun.
