My siblings and I were referred to IY and Joanne when our parents quickly began needing more care than could reasonably be provided at their retirement community, especially at a relative distance. Even before we opted to sign on, Joanne helped us break through the haze of decisions awaiting us in rapid order, which was hugely reassuring during the immediate crisis. They helped us identify suitable assisted living facilities near us, and were invaluable during the stress of the relocation, including arranging the move and facilitating storage (appreciation to Mary Beth). Independent You has been a godsend for our family. Our caregiver was personable, capable and very caring. The office was easy to communicate with and always responsive to our needs. We loved having Independent You provide services in every way. We will definitely use them again! We wouldn't go anywhere else.

My elderly parents live in Centreville, while I'm out in California, and as my father's dementia increased, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find the right kind of care to keep both him and Mom at home. But then I found Independent You. Independent You has been so terrific with finding the right carers, responding quickly to any problems, and working with me while I'm on the other side of the country, that I can't imagine how their service could be any better. From the first meeting and establishment of the care plan for my father, I knew I was in capable, professional hands, and so their services have proved so far. Dad has been thriving under their care, and I have especially appreciated their efforts to make sure we have the same set of rotating carers, which I know has been difficult during Covid times. Having Independent You's assistance for my parents has made it easier for me to sleep at night - at last!
