Had a haircut. Just an update average like other ‘K-hair salons’ in DMV area, cut was mediocre and flat. You may check out if live near by. Bring cash, price is a little cheaper.

This place has zero customer care, they never listen and respect customer’s feedback. They never answer phone calls, I have no ideas how they run family business over decades with such a terrible service to their customers. I would not recommend this hair salon.

I normally don’t like leaving reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience. I came in for a simple trim—just to clean up the dead ends while keeping the shape and length I already had. I explained what I wanted clearly, and while I understand stylists sometimes offer suggestions, I felt completely dismissed and disrespected.
I have very thin hair due to a severe hormone imbalance, which I didn't feel the need to share, expecting basic level of customer service of understanding and care. Instead, I was berated repeatedly and told I had “no hair to even cut,” and that everything I asked for was “ugly” or “not possible.” The stylist kept shutting me down with “no, no, no” to everything I tried to communicate. It felt like I was being shamed for something deeply personal and outside of my control.
Eventually, I gave up trying to advocate for myself and told him to do whatever he wanted—because that’s what he was doing anyway. I left feeling humiliated, unheard, and honestly, worse about myself than when I walked in. This was by far the most negative experience I’ve ever had at a salon.
Hair is incredibly personal, and clients deserve to feel respected and listened to—especially when they’re vulnerable. I hope this feedback encourages more compassion and better communication in the future.

Long-standing business. I have Korean hair, did magic straight. Hit or miss—if you have history of dry hair or thin hair, let them know before hand.*
Will tell you the pricing begins at 200 over the phone. I was charged 250 (excluding tips).* Hair length: 1.5 inches past the ears, max. No Master Card.* Cash and Visa accepted.
Don’t go when they’re busy.* Korean business focused on Korean hair.

Had a good experience with Tim, who trimmed/refreshed my short, asymmetrical cut + fade on the sides & back. I have thick, Asian hair and he did a good job working with it.
$45 for women’s haircut. Was unable to make an appointment online/via phone, however, and had to do so in person.

I got soft layers on my pretty long hair, it turned out good! People said they have a problem with arranging appointments and speaking English but in my experience, neither are true. They answered the phone, I even had to reschedule twice and had no problems. My hairstylist, Young, spoke great English and conversed with me. I noticed they have really good teamwork, someone was washing my hair then Young did my hair when he was done with his other client and two ladies blow dried my hair while he tended to another client shortly. I think due to my long hair, the price was higher than what the other reviews said. It ran me $53 before tip but no complaints because I really like my hair. It’s clean, the staff are nice, and they are pretty booked out but just call a few days in advance and you’re set. Would go again!
Edit: I also want to add that most of the people in the reviews complaining, are simply complaining to complain. I don’t understand why you would complain about them not speaking English as well as you’d expect when it’s obviously a Korean salon, catered to Koreans. Even if you can’t speak Korean, like me, you get great service and nearly everyone there speaks English. Perhaps I just got lucky but genuinely some of these bad reviews made me shake my head. If you’re on the fence about going, just go. Most of these reviewers are obviously the problem, not the salon.

Worst hair salon ever.
1) They never pick up the phone. They say that picking up the phone for appointment is very much hassle for them … meaning they have so many customers that they don’t need anymore customers.
2) if you are late for five minutes, literally they will yell at you. They will tell you why are you late? cannot do another perm behind you, blah blah blah blah… very unprofessional
Bottom line -
* They will never pick up the phone for appointment.
* They act like they are so much better then other salons because they seem to have so many customers that are coming in, but in my opinion, they are very average in hairstyling and very average in hair color, and average in haircut.
I do not recommend this place. .. very dirty as well, do not ever clean the floor …. I hate that it gets all in my shoes .. so annoying .. why do I have to worry about that every time.
I will not return and will encourage others do the same.
