I called in thinking I wasn’t able to get a same day appointment because it was later in the day but they answered and were so sweet and accommodating. I came in with my cat binx for a swollen face and everyone was extremely nice. I was given multiple options, given advice, and all my questions were answered. Our vet tech was extremely sweet, funny, and comforting during a scary time! i’ve never had such an amazing visit at the vet and would 100% recommend coming here.

The team was so kind and flexible with scheduling. They helped get both my cats vaccinated and checked out and gave me helpful instructions to get them on international flights. They are small but mighty and real people answer the phone!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Fairfax Ridge animal hospital. My cat was denied care solely because she is unvaccinated due to a documented vaccine allergy that is a legitimate medical condition.
Instead of showing any flexibility or willingness to work with a medical exemption, the clinic chose to enforce a rigid, one-size-fits-all policy. I was even told their staff is vaccinated, which makes their refusal to see my pet even harder to justify.
While I understand safety policies, a blanket refusal without any attempt to accommodate a documented medical exemption feels overly rigid and shows little to no concern for the well-being of their patients. Compassion and individualized care should be a basic expectation at any veterinary clinic, yet that was completely missing here.
There are other veterinary hospitals that are far more reasonable and willing to work with special medical circumstances. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if your pet has any unique health needs.

I found them after a long search to get my cat neutered. I had no idea how expensive it could be. We're talking $400-$1000 si based on my search, I had an add pop up for Fairfax Ridge Animal Hospital for $95. The reviews were good, it's in a good area and it was easy to make an appointment. The first impression is that the place is clean. The people friendly. I had 2 cats with me and they're very different personalities but they made it work. They explained what would happen, what tgey needed and pricing. My cat had an ear infection so we dealt with that as well. He was extremely nervous. Leaving, I made an appointment for their surgery. That process went well and I have no complaints. Today they had their 3rd round of vaccines and are done for a year 🤞🤞 Now I do want to point out 2 things. One my cat is extremely scared so I was told the first time he would need medication next time he came in but not real way on how that would work. Even though he had the infection and medication, I'm not sure he's ear was checked during the second visit. I also paid for a test for my second cat because I thought he had blood in his butt and was told how to collect the sample but not given supplies. I kept an eye on it and he hasn't had it again so i didn't pursue it. Lastly the vaccines are $25 but there's a $29.50 tech charge in addition. I pointed these out even though I am giving them 5 🌟s because I could have been more proactive in process. The first time, I didn't anticipate my cat being so scared and I wanted him home. Then I didn't call until the day before about medicine for him and was told I neededto pick up a prescription. When I picked them up, I was worried about them and wanted to fet them home. Now to today. I was told again he would need medication for his visits because he's so anxious but again no way of how to get them. It was a vaccination so it was quick and I choose to let it be without calling and asking about it. Here's the thing, our pets are family and we need to make sure they get the best regardless of how we feel because it's about them. He's fine. They both are. I could have done a better job of making sure the staff explained to me what I needed to do and not let my reaction to their situation impact that. So I'm just saying, I have no doubt the staff would have helped, so ask questions and make sure you get what your pet needs before leaving.

Made a call to confirm the hours to see if we could take our dog. The person said they closed at 4:47 PM and it says online that they close at 7 PM. AVOID THIS CLINIC FOR EMERGENCY VISITS.

Good price available same day Sunday. Receptionist pleasant.
Assistant pleasant but inarticulate due to second language. Dr. Difficult to understand due to accent.
Prescribed an eye ointment that another Vet stated was NOT good for cats - could cause anafalactic shock.

$60.46 for a canine nail trim is exorbitant. Previously, this service was done at another business for $25. Unfortunately, that business has closed. Prior to moving to Fair Oaks in June, our Florida vet charged $20 for a nail trim.
