We have worked with Bright Construction Group multiple times in our first 10 years of home ownership. Each time they have come through in quality workmanship and top notch customer service. Most recently, we were in the process of selling our home and needed repairs completed within 24 hours of closing. Rui and Stephen were incredibly understanding, visited our home, and assessed our needs within a few hours of our phone call. Rui sent a team to our house to immediately address the issues and complete the job -- allowing us to go to closing. Needless to say, we will be using Bright again at our new home!
Since I rely upon on-line reviews to evaluate service providers, I feel it necessary to write a detailed review of my recent work by Bright Masonry. My house in Arlington needed extensive work to a long flight of flagstone steps and a a retaining wall that had crumbled. I had a number of contractors look at both and the proposals varied wildly from a few thousand dollars to nearly 10 times that amount. I even went so far as to put a deposit down with one of the low cost contractors, only to have them disappear - lesson learned. When I was finally contacted by the County about the wall, I knew I had to get serious, and asked friends for recommendations. One suggested Bright Masonry. I contacted the office, and they sent out a knowledgable sales guy who quickly put a detailed bid together. While it was not the lowest price quoted (I'd already been burned by one of them), it was amongst the most reasonable I got. I thought the work would take a week or more, with me having to take off a lot of time from work to keep an eye on things, but they showed up with a large crew, and knocked the job out in only two days including a Saturday. The crew were professional, efficient, courteous and hard-working - I know, I did that sort of work while in college. They did a great job, solid work, and it looked better than I had imagined - they matched stone and mortar of a nearly 100 year old wall! They even did a great job with clean-up - which is one way to tell if a job is truly done right. Every phase of the job was handled well, and I can not recommend them highly enough! If you want to see their work, drive up Rock spring Road next to the Washington Golf & Country Club and look right halfway up the hill - that's their fine work on my wall.
