My neck locked out and kept me from turning my head in a particular direction but I have the added complexity of a spinal cord injury with titanium rods. He really takes the time to make sure the adjustments are going to stick, rather than popping things back into place and moving me on. I seem to break differently and with increasing creativity each time I see him and he knows almost immediately what to do.To date, he's unstuck my neck multiple times, put ribs back into place, knocked out crunchy muscles with matching knots, and helped me develop stretches and exercises with the intent of unstucking myself occasionally.I love Kathy's help with getting scheduled at reasonable times and for her overall professionalism. She is fantastic with getting me sorted, including the occasional crud with my insurance.This practice is a bright spot in my day and helps keep me going.“

“This place has been a life saver for me. After learning that I had no cartilage left in one knee, I was facing a lifetime of dependence on painkillers and, eventually, a knee replacement. Unfortunately, my body could not tolerate any of the three meds my doctor prescribed, which left me feeling worse and desperate. On my dr's advice, I sought alternative ways to deal with my pain, and I found Drs Mary and Bob McAleese. Since they've been treating me for the last four years, I don't rely on any meds at all. No, the pain is not 100% gone, but the acupuncture desensitizes the nerves so well that whatever pain I feel is absolutely tolerable without painkillers; many days, it doesn't even hurt all.
