I HIGHLY recommend Lewis Accounting and Tax Service! My husband and I tried to do our taxes ourselves and went to Lewis and Accounting to help us fix our errors. The money they got us back from overpaying and helping us find tax breaks was well worth it! Definitely recommended for their expertise and professionalism.

Ameena is by far the best accountant I have ever worked with! Not only does she exude professionalism, but her and her incredible staff are unbelievably thorough, timely, and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience and outcome possible. I am an independent contractor, regularly overwhelmed by tax season, and Ameena absolved all of my stress in one meeting. I have worked with accountants in the past, and nobody has ever taken the stress off taxes as much as she has the last two years. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I refer them to all of my clients (or anyone I may be talking to about tax or accounting needs) and Lewis Accounting has exceeded their expectations in every case. Safe to say I won’t go anywhere else… And thanks to Ameena and her awesome company, I no longer dread tax season!

I decided to try Lewis Accounting & Tax Service based on a couple of recommendations. I took the time to call and inquire about their rates to do our taxes before using their services. Speaking with the bookkeeper on the phone, I was given an estimate on the most I would spend to have my taxes done by them. Once the taxes were completed, I was shocked at the bill! I mentioned that I had been given an estimate and that the invoice was much higher than anticipated. After being told by Ameena Lewis that we were given a small discount on the bill, I was very surprised that she wasn’t going to honor what her bookkeeper had told me. She did say she would speak with the bookkeeper about giving me an estimate. Not only did I spend more than planned, I was disappointed that the price I was told was not honored, or even considered. This lack of professionalism will certainly deter me from using them again in the future.
Note that someone from Lewis Accounting will probably reply to my review and/or refute it, I stand by my disappointment with the way my invoice was handled and the lack of professionalism received.
