I was really happy, until I found out how much I had been overcharged here. The amount I paid for my little dogs dental, S even more than the estimate given. I paid over $700 for a 13 lb chihuahua with two minor extractions. A neighbor said that she had paid less than that for her King Charles that had four extractions. You can imagine how that made me feel, I mean c'mon I could have bought an appliance. Lesson learned, NEVER get anything done unless you are a local, I was from another state, staying awhile in the area and they were recommended

I came to Monticello Animal Hospital based on a recommendation from a coworker. I am so happy I found this place! I brought two of my cats here already and have had a great experience each time. The staff is very nice and helpful. We saw both Dr. Heilmeier and Dr. Andersen and they were both very gentle with our cats. They answered all our questions and explained their reasoning for each procedure they elected to do. I am glad I found this place and will continue bringing my pets here for their care. The only feedback I would give is trying to be more transparent with prices. We did not get any out of the world surprise bills or anything like that, but I am used to vets... read full review

Appa and I love Monticello Animal Hospital. This is the only vet I've ever been to where my dog is actually excited to come in. The reception team are all very welcoming, friendly, and professional. They've always been really responsive to calls and drop ins. We've had to make multiple appointments on short notice when Appa was a puppy and they've always gotten us right in. Our vet Dr. Heilmeier is fantastic. Last time we were in to see her Appa needed a few shots. In conversation we off-handedly mentioned that he loves apples. She got really excited, left the room, and came back with an entire apple that she'd just sliced up so that he could... read full review
