I cannot recommend Spice enough! Not only did she absolutely rock my wedding hair, my bridal party decided at the last minute to pay for my makeup which I wasn’t planning on getting done originally. Without a trial (which I’m sure she wouldn’t recommend but still), she absolutely ROCKED my makeup look with very little notice. If you’re looking for hair/makeup services in the Charlottesville area, look no further :)
I’ve been seeing Esther at the salon for the past couple years and this review is incredibly long overdue! Esther is one of the most talented hairdressers I’ve ever been to. Whenever I go to get my hair done, she knows exactly what needs to be done, and I always know that I’m gonna walk out feeling like my most presentable and beautiful self! She truly takes her time well somehow also managing to be efficient. Esther has also been super flexible and accommodating with my schedule her website makes it easy to book an appointment. Esther is the best! She's responsive, checks in with you through out the process, and is open to any and all questions. Esther did my hair and make up for my wedding which was INCREDIBLE. It took me 6 years to find a person in Cville I trusted with hair and it was Esther. She just recently gave me a fresh 12 inch chop and I have never gotten so many hair compliments in my life! She saw my inspo pics, she walked me through her planning, and it turned out so well! Pricing is on the higher end, but this is a small local hair salon. I don't mind paying the price for peace of mind and to support a local small business. 10/10
