I can't say enough good things about Solidcore Charlottesville! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and motivating, helping you push through each challenging workout with confidence. Every class is intense but so rewarding, and you can really feel yourself getting stronger with each session. The studio is clean, welcoming, and has a great energy that makes you want to come back. It’s the perfect mix of strength, endurance, and focus. Their community manager, Katlin, is a breath of fresh air and makes every workout so much fun. Highly recommend!
I hadn't worked out in almost 15 years when I started solidcore, and actually wasn't interested in working out at all. I'm mid 30s, felt healthy, and just never found the joy in working out. I found solidcore because I knew my mom (50s) wanted a high intensity, low impact workout and thought we'd try this together. The first class we had to stop midway through, it was so hard 🤣 but after going back over to over 200 classes over the last year and change, I can't believe how much solidcore has not only improved my entire mindset, but my whole confidence and strength. Solidcore never talks about body image or shames you. It's all about practical strength and mental endurance....read full review
Another spot I was so excited to see come to Charlottesville! I have been to several of the DC locations, so was very excited to try out one of the "community" classes in cville as the new instructors finish up their training. My class was with Megan W, who did an amazing job with the class. Since it was a training class, there were only 6 of us, so she was able to give each of us a ton of attention individually to make sure we were doing the moves correctly. This class is done on a Pilates mega former. Instead of trying to move quickly like with other classes, the goal is to move as slowly as possible and really feel the resistance. It's a low impact, high intensity workout that will leave you sore for days in the best way possible. I can't wait for this spot to fully with all the instructors fully trained!
