J & A Painting and Home Improvements is, indeed, more than “just a painting company”, as we learned when we recently needed a contractor to reconstruct the bathrooms and update the home we recently purchased. John has a crew of true craftsmen. The carpentry, the tiling, the plumbing and electrical work, as well as the painting, were challenging in our 25 - year old house— however, John’s crew did not cut corners, and we are thrilled with the outcome. John worked remotely very well with our designer while we were living out of state, but contacted us directly when our specific input was needed. We highly recommend J&A. They wallpapered our gym, and wallpapered and replaced tile in our laundry room. We’ve worked with several contractors over the years, and J&A has been one of the most communicative and transparent. Their team was efficient and respectful of our home. They came back to do a few minor touch ups, and we love the final result!
John was responsive, on time, and highly professional. His prices may be a little higher, but you get what you pay for. Matt, the technician, did a great job fixing my shower head leak, temperature control valve, and shower door. Word to the wise - they do more than painting!
