My acupuncture treatment from Alison Downey was like none other, and I have seen more than a few acupuncturists. Her precision, competence, and professional energy was amazing. I first came to Alison 2 years ago, for acupuncture to help with knee pain that was flaring up with no apparent physical cause. But the truth is, I had almost forgotten that’s how we met—not only because that healing was so fast and thorough, but because her skills as a healer far surpass simply relieving physical symptoms.I had reached a point where i knew I was done with talk therapy—I had simply exhausted the material of this current lifetime that needed integration, and I have enough high-level friends that I process with as new things arise. Yet my body was telling me it was still carrying old stuff—stuff that needed conscious attention, acknowledgement, and care, which Alison eased me into so seamlessly I didn’t even notice it was happening.I can’t imagine my life without my regular trips to Alison. She is a magician, a shaman, a priestess, and an intuitive channeler who has helped me connect my brain-knowing with my body-knowing time and time again.I can’t recommend her highly enough if you are open, willing to get a little weird and follow the intuitive lead of your body and emotions, and need healing that goes beyond what talk therapy or mainstream medicine has been able to give. You won’t regret it. If you need a safe place to land and be contained while you do the healing that transcends logic, there is nobody better.

Life changing! Alison is a true healer. She helped me with migraines, pregnancy, postpartum, and meditation. Her knowledge, wisdom, and kindness are a rare thing to behold. I am so grateful to go to her and learn from her. I always leave feeling like I'm walking on a cloud. While I used to be scared of needles, now I am the biggest advocate for acupuncture and especially Alison. She is the best I've ever seen!

Alison Downey at Inner Alchemy Healing Arts drastically changed my life. I saw results, significant results, after my first visit. I am glad my fear of needles did not keep me from reaching out/trying acupuncture. My experiences with Alison have been easy and painless. Alison/Inner Alchemy Healing Arts offers more than just acupuncture. Alison has been able to heal my mind, body, soul, and family with her multifaceted treatment options. I am forever grateful. I would recommend Inner Alchemy Healing Arts to anyone and everyone. There isn't one person that wouldn't benefit from what Alison offers. When I first contacted Alison, I let her know I was struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, nightmares, Attention Deficit Disorder, food sensitivities that cause autoimmune issues - neuropathy, and I was mildly anemic. Most people would have been intimidated by this long list, but not Alison! She suggested changes I could make to my diet and I am no longer anemic. I have not had a flareup of neuropathy since starting treatment. My anxiety improves with each visit... which has eliminated my panic attacks, improved my sleeping habits, and cut down on my nightmares. I have even seen improvement with my ADD. Added bonus!!! Alison taught me how to strengthen my communication skills. I never expected I would come out of this experience with better relationships. My teenage daughter joined the journey with me and Alison helped us to better understand one another. Our relationship is better because of it.
