While visiting Charlottesville, I noticed that most laundromats required purchasing a card with a $10 minimum. I only had a very small load of clothes that needed drying, and I didn’t want to spend $11–$12 on something that would normally cost around 75 cents, especially since I was only in town once. When I came to Hydraulic Wash Laundromat, Kelvin was incredibly kind and understanding. After I explained my situation, he generously gave me a free 25-minute dry. The laundromat is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is courteous and welcoming. I have used your laundry mat 2 times in two weeks. The people who work for you couldn’t be nicer and SO helpful! (A tall gentleman the first visit. And an African American woman the second.)
Before I could set up, she came over and asked to help. She figured out how much $ I would need to do 3 loads and dry. She saved me a lot of time and I thanked her over and over.
The facility is very clean!

Always clean, machines always available, always happy with the service that is offered when needed. Prices are a little on the higher side from what I'm used to. But when my apartment complex doesn't maintain their laundry rooms, doesn't offer enough machines, and makes it all so difficult, Hydraulic Wash prices don't seem so bad. Regardless, I really have no complaints and always enjoy coming here to do my laundry.
