Shawn was prompt, personable and provided us great peace of mind for our pre-drywall inspection. Would highly recommend Burgess for any of your home inspection needs in the Charlottesville area.
Shawn was our inspector for our pre-drywall inspection. He arrived early and spent a lot of time on the outside explaining a lot of detail on the construction of the house. He also spent time reviewing the grading of the property for which I had a concern. He was very friendly and courteous and took his time during the inspection. The office staff was also very friendly and helpful. I had to change the inspection date two times and the young lady who helped me was courteous and pleasant, and accommodated the changes without a problem. I will Burgess for the final inspection pre-closing. Highly recommend Burgess and Shawn!!!
Our inspector, Chris B., was extremely thorough. He arrived appropriately early, took a solid three hours to comb through the site, and gave us the report in a timely manner. The report was detailed (appreciate the pictures and annotations), and it gave us a very clear idea of the condition of the home and what to prioritize with respect to remediation. We were uncertain about what we could expect, having never used Burgess before, but they absolutely came through. Would recommend to anyone in the area if you want peace of mind before a home purchase.
