This place is a phenomenal academy for martial arts with a great group and awesome head coach in Sean Stoopman who truly loves and cares about martial arts as well as his students the class structure is great and they are extremely welcoming to martial artist looking to cross train or drop in if you live in the northern Virginia area definitely stop in.

Great gym! The owner Sean is very welcoming and makes you feel at home there. You will learn a lot there and the coaches are good. I highly recommend this gym if you’re in the DMV.

I’ve been training at Silverback for a little over 2 years now.
You couldn’t ask for better instruction from Sean and his staff of superb coaches. Whether you are a hobbyist or looking to compete, your training-specific needs will be met.
The weekday schedule is impressive with morning, midday and evening classes. They also have weekend options.
Great community/members too.
Definitely would recommend.
