As a Black woman with darker skin, I had some concerns going into the process, but she took the time to thoroughly explain how electrolysis works, what to realistically expect, and how treatment can differ for someone with thicker, coarser hair.<br><br>I especially appreciated her honesty and transparency. She made me aware of the possibility of temporary hyperpigmentation and other normal skin reactions, which helped me go into treatment with realistic expectations.
