A couple weeks ago I had a pretty bad experience with a salon in Jersey. I went in to get silver hair done, which I knew was going to be a process since I have dark brown hair. The stylist was ultra confident and the salon had five stars, so I had no reason to believe anything could go wrong. It did. Long story short, I left with bright red hair because the silver didn't take. Half my hair was light red and the other was dark red (wherever the silver did not take). I was furious. So I came to Val to get my roots fixed and he noticed the atrocity that was my hair. He immediately made it his priority to fix it up as best he could. And let me tell you, he did more than fix it. I've had different shades of red before but this is undoubtedly my favorite shade. It's an auburn color, right in time for fall! Val and I agreed on a price before hand and I took out enough cash for the appontment, but when he said he needed to do more than roots I was worried I wasn't going to have enough. No problem, he went the extra mile out of the kindness of his heart. I'm so thrilled I went to Val to get my hair fixed. He was honest, kind, and he definitely earned himself a new customer. I will absolutely be going back again.
I am new to the area so I bought a Groupon with Val and was very impressed! One of the best experiences I have had in a long time, I will definitely be going to him from now on. I got a full blonde highlight and a haircut and he did a great job matching my existing color and giving me new volume! He is very friendly and really wants to see you happy! Listens and talks everything through with you.He also stayed late to accommodate me after work which I really appreciated :) Thanks Val!
I bought a Groupon for Val Hair Salon and walked away from my haircut happy and impressed. My Groupon was for a haircut, partial highlights, and deep conditioning. Val was efficient, friendly, and did a great job with my hair. He spoke to me first about what I wanted, listened carefully and then gave recommendations. His advice was spot on and my hair looks great!
