I've been here four times now for a women's haircut and every time I am VERY satisfied with the result. It is no frills - you tell her what you want and she gives it to you. I recommend Linh to all my friends, both men and women, because this place is great.

I have a haircut I usually go back to, so I just show her a picture of it and she really understands what to do. She always clarifies how long I want it and if I want layers and she goes to work. Along the way she also stops to ask if lengths are okay before cutting more, which I appreciate.

I had a great experience with this place! She spent a lot of time on my haircut - which I appreciated, since I have a lot of hair. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, and she asked the right questions and figured it out better than I could explain. The result was exactly what I needed. Also shockingly affordable - $25 for a woman’s cut. Thoughtful service and excellent value! Highly recommended.

I was blown away by my service yesterday at River Place Barber & Stylist. This is the ONLY place I've gotten a perfect shampoo + blow-out in recent history. Most places do an embarrassing, lousy job at washing your scalp / nape of neck -- but here, they're thorough, and you think to yourself, 'Yep! Worth it.' The products also smell lovely. And the attention to detail is unmatched. Seriously -- if you're particular like me when it comes to haircare, this is the only place in the DMV you can bet on.
