Piano & More, founded in 2016, is a non-profit music school in Arlington, VA, bringing music education to the community. The school provides in-home lessons for piano, guitar, and other instruments in Arlington, Falls Church, and Mclean. Instructors are described as patient, kind, and wonderful. Lessons are dynamic, and instructors understand how to work with kids, engaging them at their level. Students grow in understanding different styles of music. The ease of having lessons at home is appreciated, instead of driving all over town. Instructors are good at getting students to focus on improving their fundamentals. Piano & More makes getting started with lessons easy, being highly responsive and professional. Students look forward to their lessons every week. The school also holds student events such as open mics, recitals, and music field trips.
We couldn't be happier with our experience over the past few years. Robert is an incredible teacher—extremely patient, kind, and very skilled at teaching both piano and guitar. It's particularly impressive how he tailors his lessons to our son's interests, teaching him not only how to play, but also music theory and how pieces are constructed, and they even work together on composing their own music, which has really kept our son engaged.
Ms. Celeste with Piano & More has been a great instructor for our 6 year old. She is very patient and kind, and our daughter has learned so much. We also appreciate the ease of having lessons at our house.
Wonderful and easy experience. My child has been learning piano with Nick for almost a year now and he enjoys classes immensely. Lessons are dynamic and Nick understands very well how to work with kids. My child is growing in understanding different styles of music and it is important to us that he knows and appreciates this beautiful, grounding, and often therapeutic form of art.
