Never in my life have I been charged $90 for a gel full set. And I still tipped $20. I had fine service, she was fast and nails are done, and pretty but nail is even missing color on the sides of some of them. I was charged literally for everything. Full set $55, gel add on $20, special shape $5, acrylic removal $10. Unfortunately not worth going back when same service, and exact same job can be done down the street for $55.

I recently visited Ocean Nails and Spa, a nail salon in Old Town Alexandria, and it was an absolute delight! The staff is not only incredibly skilled but also surprisingly funny, adding a cheerful vibe to the entire experience. Their service is top-notch – I didn't have to worry about choosing colors or explaining much; they just knew what I wanted. I have been here a couple of times and absolutely adore the service. The technicians are enthusiastic and youthful. They have abundant experience, especially Mia and Winnie. I love Mia's designs for my nails. She also recommends and gives ideas on what to draw. Winnie's service is an exceptional level of care. She gave my foot meticulous attention, which helped with my dry skin and ingrown toenails. Their prices are reasonable since that is the average price for a nail salon. If you visit another spa, you will be charged for additional services you have yet to request. Anyway, excellent spa shop with great people. Without a doubt, I would return.
