We’ve been attending Music Together classes for over a year. Jillian and Jennifer are fantastic teachers who create an engaging and fun environment each week. Every class is filled with dancing, singing, and instrument exploration. We highly recommend this class to anyone looking to introduce their child to the joy of music!
My son started Music Together Vivo at 3 months old. As a first time Mom, it helped me learn how to leave the house with him solo for a fun activity. As a SAHM, we did “Music Time” every day at home too. It also gave us a social outlet (during COVID it was outdoors with) and I saw so much growth in his musical and then language development that I attribute to the music classes. We have so much fun as my son is almost 3 but still loves everything about music class and now helps put away the instruments, can tap out the beat and has memorized the lyrics to 8 volumes of the Music Together songs. The app has saved me on countless roadtrips! Both teachers Ms Cheryl and Ms Jillian have also been such a caring part of our lives and model how to have fun with little ones. I’ve even been learning music theory myself!
We will soon be starting our third session with Music Together Vivo (began in the Babies class) and I look forward to it every week! I personally love the Outdoor class option, because being outside adds to the fun, relaxed, and safe group bonding experience. Cheryl and Ave are both wonderful teachers with bright, positive spirits making sure everyone is included and having a good time. You can tell that Cheryl puts a lot of work into organizing everything, loves seeing families thrive together, and is helpful with any registration questions. My daughter is now 18 months and I’ll play the songs outside of class on the Music Together app for playtime or to make car rides easier. It amazes me to see her recognize the songs and do certain movements or fetch props that go along with each. I recommend not only trying it out once, but sticking with it! My daughter didn’t always seem to “actively participate” but it’s so clear now that she was listening, watching, and taking it all in.
