i finally made it here a few years ago (and did some drop-ins a few times like getting guitar strings) i have been very happy with the purchases i got here the big one that was helpful recently was i got a practice amp that for the most part really worked out (i foolishly tried a electric bass guitar on it first and that didn't ruin it but for a second it got off) it was the roland brand (i actually used it to record to cassette tapes a bunch of stuff that probably got my moneys worth out of it i and it's still good) um i like the selection of guitars in stock but haven't won my parents over to getting another guitar just yet um was interested in lessons but didn't follow...read full review

What a find! My guitar tech moved his shop, so I was looking for a new and good luthier close by. Alexandria Music Company was recommended, and I could not be more pleased. My mail order guitar had a buzz in one pickup, and the builder suggested I have it looked at locally, since shipping it back wasn't really feasible. The Alex Music Co. tech did some troubleshooting, figured out the problem ( a faulty ground connection) and made the fix. Now the guitar just sings! Can't believe I only just now found this little gem of a shop, but I'll be going back.

Bought a classical guitar, Staff was friendly and generous to put in free cover and capo. The prices offered are much better than online. I loved it. Definitely my go to store for music.
