Salam has been doing my hair for 10 plus years. She is very skilled at caring for and styling natural hair. My hair has never been healthier and it’s noticeably less so when I have to go to other stylists (braids, traveling, etc). Not only is Salam an amazing hairstylist, she runs several very successful businesses, including Le Chic and a highly regarded Ethiopian restaurant (Tsehey in AdMo). Her success is due in part to her responsiveness and reliability. She also happens to be an incredibly kind and caring person. Love this salon!

I have been going to Salem for almost 10 years now. I was first introduced to her salon by one of my girlfriends when she was on 9th Street. She then moved to Georgia Ave., and now Alexandria. As you can see, I follow her wherever she goes. Let me first say, I am very particular about my hair and have tried several salons if I am unable to get to Salem and have never been more satisfied more than going to Le Chic. Salem is amazing and she is wonderful at training her employees. There have been many times in the past I would let her shampoo assistant or whomever style my hair because they were just as good as she (or very close to it).
