LA Fitness offers a variety of amenities for its members, including state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, a Kids Klub, and personal training. Recently, many members have noticed improvements in cleanliness and overall atmosphere, with reports of a generally clean gym and helpful staff. The air quality has been mentioned positively, making workouts more enjoyable. Some members previously expressed concerns about broken machines and locker room cleanliness. However, the new manager, Yasmine, has made significant changes by addressing these issues and enhancing member support. The gym has become a better place to work out, especially after fixing broken equipment and the AC, which had been extremely hot inside. Members appreciate the available equipment and feel welcomed by the staff, including Eros, who assists with membership options. The gym is quiet after 9:00 pm, making it a good choice for night owls. Although some improvements are still requested, like refurbishing the cardio machines, the overall environment has improved. Members value the helpful staff and the efforts to create a positive atmosphere, aiming to be a leading location in the area.
I’ve been a member since Jan. 2019. The club has steadily declined since: pool and jacuzzi no longer offered, machines outdated and broken for months, the male sauna and bathroom dirty and run down, overcrowded. I enjoyed it but decided to look for an alternative.
Pat made things right because the old manager that isn’t there anymore messed up my membership so bad. Pat was really helpful and patient and spent so much time fixing this issue. Thank you. I was so ready to cancel my membership and he was able to fix the issue and keep my membership of more than 5 years.
I had my first training session with Juliana yesterday and she was great! She listened to all my concerns/limitations, explained what would be the best way for me train, and walked me through a workout suited to me. It was challenging enough that I felt like I got a good workout in but not too much that I was aching badly today. Great start to my new workout journey.
