The best salon, these ladies are so talented and I feel so beautiful after they do my hair. I don’t like any other salon, only kedus! My Amharic (language) isn’t the best but they are patient with me and welcoming! You’re hair will stay smooth and straight , and they are gentle as well

They have great prices, good service and I’m usually in and out if I come before 3 on weekdays

I had a wonderful experience at Kedus Hair Salon! The staff was warm, welcoming, and truly professional. The salon itself is clean, modern, and has a relaxing vibe. My stylist took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered amazing results—I couldn't be happier with my hair! I left feeling confident and refreshed. I highly recommend Kedus Hair Salon to anyone looking for excellent service and expert care.

I go to this salon on a regular basis & yes I’m a black American. I have no complaints at all. I’m always satisfied, love my hair when I leave and am always out of the door between 10-12. As with any salon I go to, I have to be 1 of the first customers in because I like to be 1 of the first out of the door. I continue to be a faithful customer. —Judy

I recently visited Kedus Hair Salon with my daughter, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short due to a deeply disappointing experience.

Upon arriving, we were greeted by staff who, after learning that we were not Ethiopian, refused to provide us with services. This discriminatory behavior was completely unacceptable and left us feeling unwelcome and upset.

As a business, Kedus Hair Salon should strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers, regardless of their ethnicity or background. Their refusal to serve us is a clear violation of this principle. I would strongly urge potential customers to reconsider patronizing this establishment.

I saw a cool TikTok about this place and decided to try it. I actually went TWICE within a span of 5 days (Friday of last week and Tuesday of this week).

Here are the things I like about it:

Stylists are attentive
Sign in process is simple, walk in's only
The music is great
Hair smelled great and I enjoyed the wash
The products used on my hair were amazing and I loved my curls
It didn't take long, I was in and out in less than 1 hour
It's a great place for people with thick/long hair, I felt at home
Salon feels peaceful, the stylists are friendly and kind

My only qualm is this - On Friday I got a wash, blowout, and flat iron with curls. I paid $55 (great price). On Tuesday, I went back again and only got my hair ONLY curled (no wash, no blow dry), I was shocked at the charge --- $45!!!!!

I was looking all over the salon for signage showing their pricing for services and didn't see one. I wasn't sure if this is the usual price or if I was taken advantaged of. The odd thing is that the TikTok I saved with info about this salon shows a price list and it doesn't match what I was charged.

Overall, I will still go back because I enjoyed the experience, the outcome of my hair, and it feels good not being made to feel bad for having thick hair or having to be made to pay much more for thick/long hair. I enjoyed my experience here and will try a roller set next time. However, I will never pop in just to get my hair curled, $45 for only flat ironed curls seemed pricey.

UPDATE: I looked at the receipt for my last visit (with only the flat iron) and I was definitely overcharged. The receipt said I got a wash, blow dry, and flat iron. When you come here, please pay attention to the charges because I now know it's inconsistent.

I included a picture of my hair with the curls and another picture of it after the curls fell (straight). I've been getting tons of compliments.

I went here for the first time Wednesday last week for a wash set and dc and that will be my last time. The stylist who helped me had short/ medium length curly hair. Here’s what stuck out about my experience. (1) prior to helping me a client had to explain and show her throughout the entire styling how to comb/ flat iron her hair into a ponytail for extensions. (2) When she washed my hair it felt and sounded like she was ripping my hair out with a hard plastic brush. I had to literally ask her to finger detangle my hair. (Mind you my hair was stretched and detangled prior to arriving at my appointment). (3) she was combing my hair from root to end. Had to stop her because you could hear my hair ripping. (4) wouldn’t let her flat iron my hair because I counted her making 8 passes on each section of on an earlier client’s hair. The stylist was just not well versed on how to care for hair. Unless you want to leave with damaged, shorter hair, I would not recommend this salon.

Absolutely awful salon who are disrespectful towards their customers. I do not recommend.
