We woke up to the smell of something burning, then seeing smoke in our bedroom and the smoke detectors going off. We called 9-11 and found the source. Flames were blazing out of our Water heater. After the firemen left we called Peck Plumbing and told them what had happened. They were wonderful. They made getting our water restored a priority. They were great to deal with, kind, patient and accommodating. I used Peck Plumbing twice since moving into my new home and the plumber (Mike) did not disappoint! He helped use with a toilet flange, kitchen faucet/garbage disposal installation, and dishwasher installation - all turned out AMAZING. Mike and the people in the office are all amazing as they make sure to call with any reminders, schedule changes, etc. You never feel out of the loop. Simple repair and they did it quickly and excellently: I stripped the fitting to the wall under a one-piece toilet. Turned out the internal plastic washer had disintegrated after a dozen years. Peck's guy Gene did an excellent job, used my Kohler parts, and charged me fairly. I am asking them to bid on replacing a 20-year old high end hot water tank, and some relatively complex fittings. BTW, my contractor had recommended them. Great pick for here near Alexandria VA.
