I have used Diaz a few times over the years. Several times for raking, once for repairing a french drain and this most recent time, an effort to perform branch trimming and remove a stump. I agree with the other reviewer that while their prices are average or slightly below, the communications and reliability are pretty bad. After setting up the most recent job and agreeing to a price in writing, Jose kept postponing the work, week after week, but re-set the date with me only AFTER the date he had promised earlier had slipped with no contact from him. I had to inquire on the status every time. He never reached out to me to re-schedule. This happened THREE times over the course of three weeks, leading me to finally cancel. No apologies from him, just "ok". Total waste of three weeks trying to deal with him. Is disorganized and cannot even keep track of the job on his end. In prior years, I sometimes could get ahold of the company to get a quote and other times they never responded to messages. Very hit or miss. I won't be using them again. Simply not worth the wasted time and excessive follow up needed, and the owner is unprofessional. I wound up using another landscaper who quoted me a slightly higher price but HE actually showed up and did a great job the day after quoting and setting up the job. Diaz's Low quotes aren't of much value to the customer if they never actually show up to do the work. In prior jobs I also had the experience of "miscommunications" similar to the other reviewer's, over exactly what work will be done for what price. Strongly recommend getting EVERYTHING in writing with this company re: what will be done and for what price. But good luck with that -- Jose hates putting things in writing (wonder why?).
